Leaving Bangkok for Bang Khun Thian we will stop in at Wat Hua Krabeu, known for its shrine made of buffalo heads and as an aside, a resting place for numerous Mercedes benz.

Then we pay a visit to Khlong Pittayalongkorn School to see the community museum, wander around raised pathways through the mangroves, and learn a little about this unique school environment.

Forget all the wonderful dining experiences you’ve had in Bangkok, our next stop offers something completely different. Bangkok Seaview Restaurant requires that we take a long-tail boat to lunch out in the Gulf of Thailand.

During the 20-minute journey to what is basically a big platform on bamboo stilts, we will pass through a mangrove forest where you see all sorts of birds and get a glimpse into the lifestyles of people living by (and on) the river.

Cost of lunch is additional, approximately THB 500.  Note: this is a seafood restaurant.  There may also be a small charge for the school visit.
The trip will depart from Au Bon Pain, M-Thai Tower, All Seasons , Thanon Whittayu (Wireless Rd)
BTS: Ploenchit then approx 400m down Wireless Rd on the left towards Lumphini Park.
The trip is limited to 18 people due to transport requirements.
