Bangsai Arts and Crafts Centre
A Royal project offering training in the traditional crafts of the Thai people. Here you can wander through and observe the craftsmen at work. 29 divisions of arts and crafts are taught here. You can see basketry weaving, hand-woven silk, khon mask making, bronze sculpting, woodcarving and many others.
All products are sold in the impressive four-gabled showroom at Bangsai, so there will be a shopping opportunity for you when we visit.
There is a traditional ThaiVillage at Bangsai showcasing the architecture of Thai houses from different regions as well as showing their way of living and their culture. The houses furnished in traditional styles are open for you to see. Also at Bangsai is an aquarium with freshwater fish, a bird park and aviary.
We will have lunch at the restaurant overlooking the pond before we return to Bangkok. Lunch will be at own cost.
